Rhonda Fabian

Rhonda Fabian is a modern lay monastic ordained in the Order of Interbeing by Buddhist Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, the monk credited with bringing mindfulness to the West. She is also editor of Kosmos, the journal for transformation in harmony with all Life.

For 30 years, Rhonda and her husband have led their company, Immediacy Learning, impacting 30 million+ learners worldwide, and earning many industry accolades. Ms. Fabian began her career as a video journalist for CNN and PBS, winning a Press Club award for her work on desegregation. She studied musical traditions in New Orleans, and completed her masters at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Fabian lives and is active in Transition Town Media, Pennsylvania. She is a mother, court-appointed special advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children, and an NGO Representative to the United Nations for Kosmos Associates.
