Rachelle Jacques
Born in Stamford, Connecticut, Rachelle is the daughter of two Haitian immigrants and is dedicated to giving back to her family's home country. She is in many ways able to do so through her family’s foundation, Patrick’s Kids Foundation (PKF). PKF sponsors students in Fond-des-Blancs, Haiti to attend school and leverages technology to help better serve and equip each scholar to become a leader in their community. Rachelle is not only a co-founder of the foundation, but she also serves as the Director of Communications.
She has a degree from Princeton University that focuses on Public Policy and is very interested in how policy is integral to the development of national and state institutions. Rachelle currently works at Facebook in Community Operations as Market Specialist where she works on internal policy and helps keep the its platform safe for all users.
Outside of work, she is also an advisor for the Southwest Angel Network (SWAN) an impact investing group dedicated to helping for-profit, social impact companies. Lastly, she is a proud member of the Keep Families Giving Foundation's Next Generation Advisory Board, where is the acting Impact Investing Chair.
Overall, she is passionate about helping underserved communities gain access to resources that allow them to have the tools for a successful future. Particularly she plans to leverage new technology to meet the dyer needs of the Caribbean and promote the region's development.
