Next Gen Leaders and advocates have come together in this unprecedented moment to shine a light on the importance of embracing community and collective action for good in partnership with Giving Tuesday’s global campaign.

“In this unprecedented time, it can feel strange to adopt new behaviors and press pause on our normal lifestyles. But we’re being presented with a unique opportunity to serve our community by thinking in terms of ‘us’ and ‘we’ instead of ‘me.’” - Vice Chair of KFG, Michal Ann Morrison

“While we do not yet know the full ramifications of this pandemic, we do know the importance of coming together as a community to inspire generosity. I have personally experienced the power of bringing next-gen philanthropists together to help solve global problems and innovate around social good. We are honored to partner alongside Giving Tuesday to continue to give the next generation a voice and inspire philanthropic initiatives to demonstrate resilience in fighting back against Covid-19.” - Vice Chair of KFG, AnneMarie McComb

"How we respond to COVID-19 will not only be determinative of the immediate impact of the pandemic, but will also be determinative of what the world looks like after the pandemic abates. At YOUnify, we feel it is important that next generation philanthropists and innovators are empowered to lead us into a more resilient and cooperative future by a unified, multigenerational cross-sector support network and we are excited to partner with Giving Tuesday towards that end. - CEO of YOUnify, Brandyn Keating

People can show their generosity in a variety of ways for #NextGenGenerosity during #GivingTuesdayNow, whether it’s raising dollars for an organization you love, volunteering hours for a Covid-19 response activity, helping aggregate Covid-19 next gen projects, or sharing a give back message on social -- every next gen act of generosity counts. The global movement will emphasize opportunities to give back to communities and causes in safe ways that allow for social connection even while practicing physical distancing.

“As a global community, we can mourn this moment of extreme crisis while also finding the opportunity to support one another. We each have the power to make an impact with acts of generosity, no matter how small, and to ensure the sustainability of organizations and services that are crucial to the care and support of our communities,” said Asha Curran, CEO of GivingTuesday.

#GivingTuesdayNow is a day created in response to this extraordinary global pandemic. The traditional, GivingTuesday will still take place on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
