After being a stay at home mom for several years, Lila founded ConnectHer, a global communication and crowd-funding platform focused on advancing women and girls globally. To date ConnectHer has raised more than $500,000 for women’s causes around the world.
She launched ConnectHer's premiere program, the annual Girls Impact the World Film Festival (gitwff.org), with the help of Harvard students and groups in 2013. Prior to founding ConnectHer, Lila worked for FLOW, a nonprofit which advocates for Conscious Capitalism. Lila was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa. She currently lives in Austin, Texas with her husband.
