Shannon McKinley Bland

Shannon McKinley Bland is a public relations strategist with 5+ years of experience in media relations, public affairs, crisis communications and special event management. In addition to overseeing the public relations strategies for clients in a wide variety of sectors ranging from sports, tech, healthcare, startups and non-profit organizations, Shannon has overseen successful media campaigns for NCAA Bowl Games, the Super Bowl and and helped build non-profit organizations from the ground up.
A graduate of Texas Tech University, Shannon Bland earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. In 2017, she completed a specialized communications course related to the essentials of succeeding in the sports industry from Columbia University. She is the vice chair of the Andy Roddick Foundation Leadership Council which works to provide children in Central Texas access to high-quality learning and enrichment outside of the regular school day. Shannon is also the PR chair for the Austin Under 40 Awards and a supporter of I Live Here I Give Here.
