Film and Community Outreach Chair

Born in Hollywood, California, and raised in Austin, Texas, Dylan Winters graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017 with a Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on atmospheric propulsion and flight.  After graduating from UT Austin, he worked for Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA as an Integrated Powerplant Systems Engineer on the G7-G500 project.  His team was responsible for completing the FAA certification of all powerplant components for the G500 business jet.  After leaving Gulfstream in 2018, he served as the Driving Experiences Marketing and Business Development Lead at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX.  As a result of his father’s career as a professional photographer in Hollywood, he was exposed to the world of film at an early age and developed a love for cinema.  Since May of 2019, he has pursued a lifelong dream of acting, with the goal of becoming a professional film actor. Dylan recently signed with Callidus Agency to pursue is acting passions here in Austin.

Since 2019, he has served as the Film and Community Outreach Chair for the Keep Families Giving (KFG) family foundation.  He strives to channel his passion for film into the social good space by supporting local actors and by promoting the use of film as a platform for social advocacy. At Keep Families Giving, he is able to act as a liaison between the foundation and the local film community, and as an advocate for professional and amateur artists in Austin.
