Harrison Richards

Entrepreneur Community Chair

Born in England and raised in Austin, Harrison Richards left the University of St Andrews to bootstrap an ecommerce company, Furls Crochet, to 15+ employees and distribution in 100 countries.

 

Harrison now serves as the CEO of Furls Crochet, the world's premier manufacture of crochet hooks, knitting needles, and other fiberarts tools for hobbyists with carpal tunnel, arthritis and fibromyalgia.

 

Harrison's philanthropic passions are art, environment, and youth entrepreneurship education. He has served as a guest lecturer for entrepreneurship at Headwaters School and established a corporate giving partnership with the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Austin.
