A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and former Army Airborne Ranger, Alex has parlayed his leadership
experience into a highly successful private banking and investment management career in Central Texas, where he leads one of the largest
wealth management practices in the state, he was recently recognized by Forbes and Barron's as a top 90 advisor in Texas and a top 1200
advisor in the nation. 

 

Alex specifically manages the fiscal affairs for a select number of families, privately held businesses, and foundations. Clients tap into his specialized experience on all things financial from investing to estate planning as well as credit and lending.  He worked for Merrill Lynch for 9 years and joined UBS in 2009. In Alex’s sixteen years in Austin he has become involved in philanthropic endeavors, both
donating considerable time and financial resources.  

 

He currently sits on the Board of Ballet Austin where he serves on the management committee and just completed two years as the board president.  Additionally Alex serves on the executive committee for the Long Center for the Performing Arts and is also a member at large and former President of the West Point Society of Central Texas where he was the primary
Austin liaison to the United States Military Academy.  In his free time he enjoys high altitude mountain climbing, traveling, cycling and playing
racquetball.
